Backed by world class investors, Arthur is transforming the way business runs on AI and is looking to build the top startup team in enterprise tech.
The People Ops Manager role has a broad range of responsibilities – we need someone who can support the operations of a growing team, from HR logistics (e.g., benefits, feedback) to growth and development of our team. The right candidate will have a passion for People Operations and a commitment for providing high-quality service and programming to help our team grow.
What you’ll do
- Build and implement internal programs and policies to support our internal People machine, including onboarding and development structures
- Create, implement, and own operational people initiatives such as employee experience, compliance programs, and partnering on HR process improvements
- Manage the relationship of our PEO provider; working together to run payroll, maintain state tax compliance, and build a competitive benefits offering
- Utilize people metrics to drive key insights and decisions around growth and retention
- Coach Arthur team members, functioning as an advocate and resource to resolve key employee issues
What we’re looking for
- Relevant experience managing People Operations / Human Resources functions
- A strong people-first approach, with the understanding that people are our most important asset and that company success depends heavily on supporting the team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence
- A track record of being detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to operate autonomously and thrive in ambiguity
- The ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders through different mediums (e.g., company updates, new process and procedure rollouts)
- Keen problem-solving abilities, with the ability and desire to proactively tackle new challenges as they arise
What to expect at Arthur
- Teammates who value curiosity, hard work, collaboration, and creative problem-solving -- and good swag.
- A team of professionals who are passionate about our work and making a positive impact through AI.
- A caring culture; we value and prioritize our team’s physical and mental health, encouraging and celebrating life outside of work.
- Autonomy to pursue your role and interests with room to grow, with a team behind you that always has your back.
- Joy, humor, and a little dose of healthy competition (in our business, we win as a team; on company game night, may the best Arthurian win…).
We offer
- Competitive compensation plus medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401K
- Our target base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $140,000, based on your experience and how your skills align with role requirements.
- Equity in what we’re building together, backed by some of the most respected VCs in the industry.
- A flexible learning and development budget: we’ll cover a masters in computer science, or support ways to learn and grow in the areas that matter to you.
- Highly discounted gym and fitness benefits.
- Flexible PTO with vacation minimums, which we really want you to take and enjoy.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment (from your home office, and in our NYC-based office)
