Product Engineer - Scale Rapid

Scale’s emerging products are some of the fastest-growing in the company’s history. In particular, Scale Rapid democratizes Scale’s data annotation capabilities to teams of all sizes and industries, helping teams get production-quality data as quickly as possible. We enable customers to iterate and train the next generation of machine learning systems.

We are looking for great entrepreneurial engineers excited to work in a startup-within-a-startup. This role will have a large amount of impact by working closely with customers and help define and implement our product roadmap. You will work with a dedicated group of engineers working on Scale Rapid. The team is results-oriented, always looking for innovative solutions to deliver the best product that helps our customers accomplish their goals.

You will:

• Own large new areas within our product, and ship systems from 0 to 1
• Build technologies ranging from frontend and backend to automated systems
• Deliver experiments at a high velocity and level of quality to engage our customers
• Work deeply with sales and marketing to increase customer engagement
• Work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization through production
• Be able, and willing, to multi-task and learn new technologies quickly

Ideally you'd have:

• 1+ years of industry experience as a software engineer post graduation
• At least a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Full-stack experience (Python, Javascript, Node, React, Typescript, etc.)

Nice to have:

• Prior startup experience, building from 0 to 1.
• Experience at other API technology companies
• Excitement to work with AI technologies
