👉About this position
Synthetic media is a new category and many are still unaware that AI avatars exist at all. To deliver on our mission, we need to ensure people actually know of and interact with AI-generated content.
Our Content team exists to do just that: we create fun, engaging campaigns that reach wide audiences on TikTok and other channels. By creating entertaining content, we also build awareness for our brand. Our campaigns (we call them 10x bets) can take many forms: from our daily AI-related videos on ai.explains.ai, through our latest Ai Santa campaign, to a 45-day TikTok live counting to 1 million, you can expect to work on a wide variety of projects. The common thread: building brand awareness through fun content.
Reporting to our Content Lead, you will help us deliver more video content, faster. You'll receive a brief on the task at hand and work with AI-generated materials created using our platform, Synthesia STUDIO. Based on the brief and materials, you'll be responsible for editing and post-producing the video independently. We are looking for a candidate with enough post experience to work independently and taking video all the way to the finish line. Apart from editing, this might entail adding animations created by our designers, or sound mixing the video.
You'll play an integral role in the Content team's success by scaling our output and raising awareness about Synthesia through the videos you create. We are looking for a team player who loves video editing and creates quality content at pace. At Synthesia we believe that small teams moving fast are the best way to execute. You'll be the owner of the projects you are tasked with.

- 3+ years of video editing experience
- Premiere Pro expert
- experience using After Effects
- experience working at a hyper growth startup a plus
